Millennium Fellowship Project: TerraVita
Terravita is a project focused on implementing alternatives and habits that help their members and people in general to adopt a more eco-friendly lifestyle. We participate in activities such as recycling days, organization of bazaars that promote local consumption, beach cleaning, reforestation, etc. We also like to promote basic and simple every day changes like carrying a reusable bottle and reducing the consumption of single use plastics.
About the Millennium Fellow
Genesis Perez is currently a Renewable Energy Engineering student with a strong focus on advancing a fair energy transition. Her environmental journey began through volunteer groups during her teenage years and has expanded into active participation in both state and national climate summits. She has also engaged in state-level citizen forums, contributing to discussions on water availability and strategic resource management. Through these experiences, Genesis has strengthened her commitment to environmental leadership and the pursuit of equitable, sustainable solutions.
