Millennium Fellowship Project: Mindhera
Mind Hera is a project designed to support women who have experienced gender-based violence and the families of femicide victims. The goal is to establish a secure environment where women can seek legal assistance from gender-sensitive attorneys and receive psychiatric treatment to recover from trauma. Helping women reconstruct their lives and giving families the means to pursue justice and closure are more important goals than merely supplying assistance. In order to help these women overcome the obstacles they encounter, my project integrates legal aid and mental health services. More than just a service, what I wanna achieve with Mind Hera is a community where women may find hope, resources, and strength.
About the Millennium Fellow
Liliana Alonzo is a psychology student at CETYS Universidad with a strong commitment to gender equality, mental health, and sustainable development. She serves as the Leader of the Inclusion, Diversity, and Gender Committee for the Baja California Youth Climate Summit, where she develops protocols to prevent harassment and discrimination. Liliana also holds leadership roles in three student organizations, coordinating projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She is dedicated to creating inclusive spaces that foster collaboration and positive community impact.
