" Creativity and curiosity, along with critical thinking, allow me to experiment with my passion for art and technical knowledge, enabling me to apply my skills to projects with significant social impact while collaborating with my community. The skills I gain from the Millennium Fellowship will help me develop more impactful projects throughout my career, aligned with the UNAI principles and the SDGs. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: "Fresh Roots" Hydroponic Module

A portable hydroponic module that you can use inside or outside your home in small spaces, convert as an educational tool for young people and, in the future, adaptable to promote a more sustainable, responsible, and health-beneficial food consumption model, while also contributing to greener and more sustainable cities.
During the Millennium Fellowship I refined my hydroponic prototype and used it as a learning tool to inform and teach several groups of secondary school students (ages 13–15). I showed them how a hydroponic irrigation module works, explained its components, why it’s important for them to learn about it, and the value of having one at home.
