Millennium Fellowship Project: Men Matter Too: Rethinking Men's Health
So, we know that the mental and physical wellbeing of women are recognized with the influence of feminist movement and its dynamics, every year we celebrate women's day in a grandeur. But in these times, we often forget that men's mental and physical wellbeing matter too. The society almost puts a blind eye towards the emotions of men. We rarely acknowledge the importance and significance of the men of our society. In an effort to foster feminism, we often neglect the needs and wants of men which yet again brings about gender inequality. We often think that when a talk about gender inequality comes to the podium it is always about women being the victim. This is the reality. But there are two sides to a coin, and that is when men become the victims; where they are not able to express themselves and not able to talk about their problems. So this project hopes to raise awareness about men and their health so that we can celebrate the coming Men's day with pride.
