Millennium Fellowship Project: Mental Health First Aid

The mental health first aid project was designed to equip people with the necessary knowledge and practical skills to react immediately and effectively when mental health problems arise, for both themselves and others. This essential training is delivered through structured workshops and sessions that teach participants how to recognize the early signs of mental distress, provide vital initial support, and safely connect individuals to professional help. The project's primary goal is to create a well-prepared network of individuals ready to provide crucial intervention and foster a safer, more supportive community.

About the Millennium Fellow

Gauri Kapoor is a student of Psychology and English at Christ University, Delhi NCR, with a strong ability to find meaning in life’s simplest moments and turn insights into action. Guided by empathy and awareness, her goal is to bridge understanding, amplify the voices of those often overlooked, and inspire collective action that leaves both communities and individuals better off than she found them.
