" I do this work because it does not sit right with me to ignore the children whose lives are shaped by circumstances beyond their control. My conviction is that inequities, especially those affecting children, must be met with both empathy and action. I look forward to the Millennium Fellowship because I hope to utilise the platform, community, and resources to amplify my impact and transform my commitment into sustainable social change. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: REAL (Recognise, Educate, Advocate, Love) Initiative

The REAL Initiative is anchored in the belief that children with lesser privileges, who are socially marginalized can be empowered through education and social acceptance. The initiative aims to recognise them, educate them through supplementary non-professional tuitions, advocate for them and love them. The project aims to do with in partnership with non profit organizations based in Delhi.

About the Millennium Fellow

S. Jayanth is an undergraduate student of Economics and Political Science at CHRIST (Deemed to be University) Delhi with an insightful and inquisitive mind which refuses to accept things as they are. He is guided by critical thinking rather than conviction, he explores the context of every idea and approaches it from different, often opposing perspectives. His views are firm yet carefully crafted with deep introspection and reflection. In his conversation, he challenges conventional wisdom and broadens his and others horizons by offering new, sometimes unconventional, insights. He aspires to be someone who can make a positive change, wherever and whenever possible, and is committed to developing himself to do so across all spheres of life. In the future, he wishes to engage and contribute more deeply in the fields of economics and international affairs, as both scholar and practitioner.
