United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: SKILL UP:FUTURE READY STUDENTS

Skill Up: Future-Ready Students is an initiative aimed at strengthening foundational learning among government school children. The project focuses on building general knowledge, improving English exposure, and developing essential life skills through interactive teaching sessions. We covered topics such as days of the week, seasons, weather, community helpers, transport, hygiene, and basic geography to enhance students’ understanding of the world around them.

About the Millennium Fellow

Laisha Handa is a dynamic and driven BBA student at Christ University, specializing in Finance and International Business. Known for her leadership as Cultural Secretary and School Representative, she blends academic excellence with a flair for creativity. Laisha’s experience spans wealth management, market analysis, and strategic consulting, complemented by strong skills in communication and adaptability. With a vision to excel in finance and consulting, she thrives on challenges, innovation, and impactful collaboration, aiming to create solutions that inspire growth and drive meaningful change.
