" "I dream of a world where neurological disorders are met with understanding, not silence. The Millennium Fellowship will help me turn that dream into action, amplifying my voice and impact for communities in need." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: NeuroAware
NeuroAware is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow Pavani Jaiswal. The project focuses on advancing research and building awareness around neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Multiple Sclerosis. NeuroAware seeks to bridge the gap between scientific knowledge and community understanding by promoting early detection, reducing stigma, and advocating for accessible healthcare resources.
During the Millennium Fellowship period (August–December 2025), NeuroAware aims to:
Host at least three awareness workshops/seminars in local schools, colleges, and community centers to educate about neurodegenerative disorders.
Conduct a small-scale research study/review exploring regenerative or neuroprotective approaches to neurodegeneration.
Directly engage with 50–100 students and community members through events and online platforms.
