" I believe entrepreneurship should not be limited by background, access, or formal education. I work to simplify business knowledge and make it practical, so young people can turn ideas into sustainable livelihoods. This Fellowship offers the ecosystem, perspective, and global exposure needed to strengthen this work and scale its impact. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Kubera

Project Kubera is a youth entrepreneurship and livelihood initiative designed to bridge the gap between entrepreneurial aspiration and real-world execution. The project operates at the pre-incubation stage, providing structured training in business fundamentals, idea validation, financial basics, and ethical decision-making for students and young adults from underserved backgrounds.
Developed at Christ University, Bengaluru, Project Kubera was piloted in collaboration with the Parikrma Foundation, reaching 230+ participants through 15+ hands-on workshops and mentorship sessions. The program supports early-stage founders, students from non-business backgrounds, and community-based learners in building realistic, sustainable venture pathways aligned with SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure).

About the Millennium Fellow

Shivangi Mishra is a finance student at Christ University, Bengaluru, driven by a clear purpose: to create tangible impact in people’s lives. Having grown up across multiple cities in India, she developed adaptability and cultural sensitivity early on. Her leadership journey began during the COVID-19 lockdown when she founded a Social Service Club, later expanding her work through university roles in Corporate Relations, consultancy initiatives, and financial literacy programs, while actively participating in rural development and first-aid outreach initiatives across Karnataka. She is motivated not by titles, but by the belief that meaningful change comes from showing up consistently.
