" Data-driven problem-solving and a commitment to ESG principles fuel my vision for sustainable cities. The Millennium Fellowship offers a global platform to refine these skills, collaborate with change makers, and amplify the impact of my kinetic energy project aligned with the SDGs. I am excited to transform innovative ideas into measurable, community-driven solutions that create lasting environmental and social value." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Earth Quant

EarthQuant is an ESG-first sustainability initiative that helps tech parks, commercial buildings, and small startups strengthen their environmental performance, resource efficiency, and global credibility. The primary focus of EarthQuant is to improve ESG transparency by generating real, verifiable data on energy, water, and material usage data that organisations need for responsible reporting and SDG alignment.
To support this, EarthQuant conducts on-ground assessments and uses core computer-science methods such as automation, sensor data processing, and pattern detection to uncover hidden waste patterns. These insights help organisations reduce environmental impact, but also serve a larger purpose: enabling them to meet ESG expectations that international investors look for.
By improving sustainability reporting and measurable performance, EarthQuant helps smaller startups and corporates build trust, qualify for global green funding, and demonstrate good-faith commitment to responsible production under SDG 12.

About the Millennium Fellow

Siddharth Ambastha is an Indian undergraduate currently pursuing an integrated BBA in Decision Science, where he combines business strategy with advanced data analytics to address complex sustainability challenges. Through internships and apprenticeships with Fortune 500 companies, top consulting firms, and leading banks, he has delivered ESG-focused solutions including Scope 3 financed emissions analysis, ESG audit frameworks, and sustainability-driven risk assessment models. These experiences have strengthened his capability to design scalable, data-driven solutions with measurable impact.
As Head of Business Development at a university consulting body, Siddharth managed operations across multiple campuses, mentored large teams, and collaborated with startups to formulate high-impact business strategies, demonstrating strong leadership and execution skills. His Millennium Fellowship project aligns with SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and embeds ESG principles by harnessing kinetic energy from footsteps to power urban infrastructure—reducing fossil fuel reliance, engaging communities through gamification, and ensuring governance through transparent impact tracking and ethical data practices. With a record of leading multi-disciplinary teams, winning national-level case competitions, and executing sustainability initiatives, Siddharth aims to scale this project from Indian smart cities to global markets, generating lasting environmental, social, and financial impact.
