Millennium Fellowship Project: Bangalore Green Trails

Bangalore Green Trails is a project that invites students and community members to explore and connect with the green spaces of Bangalore. We’ll take walks through parks, gardens, and tree-lined streets, learning about the hidden natural gems in the city. The focus is on appreciating and protecting these spaces that are often overlooked in the hustle of urban life. As we walk, we’ll share the stories behind the trees, plants, and eco-warriors working to make Bangalore greener. We’ll also host casual meetups where we talk about the importance of nature and how small action like picking up litter or planting seeds can make a big difference. This project aims to raise awareness about the environment in a fun and relaxed way, encouraging people to care for their surroundings and get involved in making the city more sustainable. It’s not just about tree it’s about building a community that values the natural world around us. Anyone can join, whether you’re an environmentalist or just someone who loves a good walk in nature!
