Millennium Fellowship Project: Women and youth empowerment
This project aims to end gender based violence and teenage pregnancy plus the high rate of youth employment in my opportunities,,this will be done through forming small groups and conducting mentorship program and also maybe organizing donation of sanitary towels as well. Throughout the program, I managed to supply over 200 girls with pads and also offered mentorship talk to youths
About the Millennium Fellow
Hellen Awino, a final -year law student at chuka university is a passionate advocate for women and youth empowerment.Born in Kenya and residing in Nairobi,she has championed the rights of women and young people from an early age, actively promoting equality and opportunity throughout her life.Hellen's dedication to social justice and community development reflects her commitment to creating a positive impact and inspiring others to engage in meaningful change.
