Millennium Fellowship Project: Housing Ithaca

This project worked with local landlords and tenants on housing issues in Ithaca, NY.
During the Millennium Fellowship, my project focused on community engagement around housing affordability and tenant–landlord relations in Ithaca. I organized and facilitated an in-person community meeting that brought together tenants and local landlords to discuss challenges related to rental access, communication, and housing stability. The project created a space for dialogue between stakeholders who rarely interact directly, helped surface shared concerns, and clarified misunderstandings around local housing constraints. Through this process, the project strengthened community awareness of housing issues and encouraged more constructive engagement between students and the broader Ithaca housing ecosystem.
