" I Am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it's an opportunity to turn my ideas into action and create a lasting impact in my community alongside passionate change makers. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Drought resilience Turkana and Baringo county
My project was about dealing with drought, climate change and poverty in Turkana and Baringo county. My project mainly focused on how I'm going to help deal with drought through various ways such as carrying out different programs to help in promoting sustainable farming in the two counties This is because sustainable farming will help the people in those communities to learn to grow drought resistant crops. I can also assist in supplying free seeds of the drought resistant crops since when the crops mature they can assist in dealing with hunger.
