United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

As a Millennium Fellow, I would be able to create a better version of myself—one who works towards a sustainable future. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Healing Hearts

The Healing Hearts Project, is a dedicated outreach program focused on raising awareness about mental health and fostering a supportive environment for individuals facing mental health challenges. Recognizing the importance of mental well-being in overall health, this project is designed to empower communities with knowledge, resources, and empathy towards mental health issues. In our present society most of the people suffering from mental health issues but they are unaware about what to do and also the expense for consulting a psychologist is very high ,in a state like Kerala the state government doesn't provide psychologist service rather they provide psychiatric wing in the hospitals ,so this project aims to provide awareness about the mental health issues faced by all sections of the society and an effort to create a psychologist wing in the government hospitals. Currently I am collaborating the Project with Koodu Foundation. As a part of the project we organized awareness sessions and counselling assistances at various schools and colleges in association with National Service Scheme.

About the Millennium Fellow

Gopika S is a strong, young, and aspiring student who has always been deeply rooted in the values of empathy, service, and kindness. She was born and raised in Kerala and is currently in the final year of law school at Cochin University of Science and Technology. From a very young age, she felt a strong desire to help others and work towards causes that matter, believing that every effort matters. Her goal for the future is bright and clear—to create a better world and a better tomorrow, guided by ethics and values; to serve in uplifting society; and to ensure that she is part of the change and progress rooted in respect, fairness, and justice.
