"Through the She Rise Foundation, we empower girls to rise above societal expectations and self-doubt. We foster confidence, self-worth, and resilience, helping them recognize their true potential and value. As part of this journey, we stand together, uplift each other, and become the change-makers the world needs."
About the Millennium Fellow
Madalitso Letasi is a passionate youthful citizen. He was born in Malawi - Africa undergraduate at Domasi College of Education, studying education in social sciences. He is much concerned with the growing population in most of the developing nations which leads to the depletion of natural resources hence increased cases of malnutrition. This drives Madalitso to mobilize his community to start contributing to the environment especially in planting trees and irrigation farming since his secondary level. In the meantime, Madalitso together with his community wants to venture into fish farming to minimise protein shortages in the community that aligns with Sustainable Development Goals.
