" There are many challenges in this world, but someone has to take them on—and I want to be that someone. I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I want to address the global problem of talent misalignment. I have seen too many students, especially in China, enter fields of study without understanding their true interests, wasting their potential and feeling regret. I hope to help individuals clarify their passions and transform them into fulfilling careers, promoting personal growth, happiness, and social innovation. Being a Millennium Fellow will allow me to connect with like-minded peers, learn from diverse perspectives, and expand the impact of this work on a global scale. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Talent Dislocation Reduction Plan

Many countries are experiencing a huge mismatch of talents, especially under the college entrance examination system in China. Many students choose their majors without knowing what they love, which further affects their employment choices. However, many people are expressing regret about this, believing that they have wasted their lives and feeling unhappy. The dislocation of talents not only has a negative impact on individuals but also reduces the possibility of social innovation and development. To reduce the mismatch of talents, this project hopes to help students better understand their interests and hobbies, and gain some knowledge about the potential industries they are interested in. In addition, this project aims to help students develop their interests into successful careers through a series of courses.
