Millennium Fellowship Project: EduConnectIT: Bridging the digital divide in Education.
EduConnectIT is an initiative designed to strengthen digital access and technological literacy in underserved schools. Many students still lack exposure to computers, online learning tools, and essential digital skills needed for success in today’s world. This project addresses that gap by providing students and teachers with hands-on guidance, digital learning resources, and awareness on how technology can improve the learning experience.
The project focuses on three main goals:
Improving digital literacy among students through workshops and guided computer-based learning.
Supporting teachers by introducing them to classroom technologies that enhance lesson delivery.
Promoting equitable access to digital tools by mapping and utilizing existing school resources while advocating for improved infrastructure.
EduConnectIT creates social impact by empowering learners to navigate the digital world confidently, enhancing academic performance, and preparing young people for tech-driven careers. By fostering an environment where technology becomes part of the everyday learning process, the project helps build a more inclusive and forward-looking education system.
