Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Arth
Project Arth is a financial literacy initiative where we aim to teach students in grades 9 to 12 and women the basics of managing money. We aim to create practical lessons that are interactive and fun on topics like budgeting, saving, interest rates, and making smart financial decisions. To date, we have worked with 15+ institutions and non-profit organizations, extending our support to as many learners as possible who don't have access to this field of awareness. The main goal of Project Arth is to help people from all backgrounds get a chance to learn about money in a way that makes sense to them.
About the Millennium Fellow
Aanya Maheshwari is a passionate and impact-driven individual dedicated to creating meaningful change through entrepreneurship and community initiatives. She has actively engaged in projects addressing social challenges, from promoting women’s empowerment through skill-based collaborations to developing innovative solutions for reducing food waste. With a strong interest in social entrepreneurship, she combines creativity with strategic thinking to design sustainable, scalable ideas that uplift communities. Known for her collaborative spirit, leadership skills, and ability to bring people together, Aanya thrives on turning ideas into impactful actions that drive positive transformation.
