I am eager to learn from diverse perspectives, sharpen my ability to lead transformative projects, and turn community-driven ideas into sustainable solutions that inspire and empower others." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Biome Board

Biome is a project focused on transforming agricultural waste into sustainable building materials. During my time, I supported business development initiatives and aimed to find a product-market fit & pricing in the markets we are planning to deal. The core project involved creating infrastructure and processes to scale Biome's market reach across the Delhi NCR region.
The work centered on three major workstreams. First, I conducted extensive market research across five B2B customer segments including interior designers, architects, developers, contractors, and educational institutions. This involved mapping customer profiles, understanding purchasing behaviors, and identifying decision-making patterns within each segment. Second, I executed targeted customer outreach by making strategic cold calls, sending campaign emails, and scheduling meetings with qualified prospects, including Government Bureaucrats from the NITI AAYOG, the Think Tank of Policy Making in India & the IGBC Council for Green building rating. The goal was to build a comprehensive lead database and gather feedback on product market fit and pricing sensitivity. Third, I built operational systems to support this expansion by implementing Zoho CRM automation to manage 315 customer entries, creating Excel dashboards for real-time progress tracking, and developing a Python-Streamlit web application to monitor key performance indicators. The project outcomes included establishing a database of 300+ qualified leads across Delhi NCR, scheduling customer meetings that yielded valuable market insights, and automating lead management processes to reduce manual workload. Through customer journey mapping and feedback analysis, I documented both market opportunities and barriers. Key findings showed strong interest in sustainability but critical concerns around pricing relative to plywood, structural performance validation, and risk aversion in adopting new materials. Moreover, our source of 'Parali' or the wheat/rice straw is directly from Farmers, ensuring a fair pricing model, and empowering them with a disposable income.
