" Change blossoms even in deserted gardens - in
hushed conversations, in questions
that go unanswered, in hesitant voices. In India,
sexual reproductive health remains a
stigma, a skippable chapter as students usually
call it, with students with disability
being excluded entirely. My work has been about
breaking this silence, this barrier of
limiting self-knowledge. The Millennium
Fellowship presents an opportunity to amplify
this mission, transforming grassroots advocacy
into systemic lasting change.
With its global network and social impact leaders,
the fellowship will provide me with
guidance to develop a compassionate, data-
driven approach, ensuring that inclusive
and stigma-free sexual education reaches all
those who need it the most. The
mentorship and leadership training would
definitely refine my skills in communication
and leadership, allowing me to expand my
impact, engage disabled communities, and
push for policy-level reform. "
