" Although true for many, growing up for me involved a lot of conforming, to rules, to practices, to politics. To question was out of line. But the first thing you learn in design is to ask "why?". It has been a little tedious to get used to, but questioning has lead me to uncover a lot, and now I'm ready to do something about it. Being a Millennium Fellow will help me immensely in taking these skills further and applying it in real time! "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Vistar
Addressing the gaps in the conventional education system, Vistar is a notebook brand that aims to seamlessly integrate important life skills into students’ everyday lives. It incorporates fun, interactive and engaging elements that makes learning while also promoting the objectives of longevity.
About the Millennium Fellow
Savyasachi Ganjoo is a curious, and experimental multi-disciplinary design student at Delhi Technological University, India. Impact making had always been a dream for her, and design as a field opened doors for her that give her the opportunity to realize this vision, with this international stage at Millennium Fellowship being the first of many! Passionate about causes directly affecting minority communities, she wants to utilise her skills and design systems that will bring about visible changes, for everyone only gets one chance at life and deserve to live it the fullest.
