" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I believe in the power of communities coming together to create real, lasting change, and this Fellowship represents exactly that. It’s a platform where passionate change-makers, like me, can learn from each other, grow together, and make our ideas more impactful than we could alone.
I see this Fellowship as a responsibility. A space where I can refine my project with the help of global mentors, bring a vision to my mission, and expand my reach far beyond what I could have imagined. Working on Voices Unheard made me realize that social impact work is not only about amplifying voices—it’s also about constantly reflecting, evolving, and learning how to serve better. I know that being a Millennium Fellow would challenge me to think bigger, act more strategically, and align my initiatives more closely with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
In the long run, I hope to build a career that merges communication,
advocacy, and tech for social good. I want to grow not just as a change-maker, but as a listener, a leader, and someone who never stops learning, and I truly believe the Millennium Fellowship will help me do that. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: VOICES UNHEARD
In a world where many voices go unheard, I, along with my peers, decided to create a space where stories of resilience, courage, and truth could finally find a home. That’s how “VOICES UNHEARD†was born—a humble podcast initiative on Spotify, driven by the belief that every individual who needs a voice, wants a voice, and deserves a voice should be heard. We have provided a stage for people who have fought against all odds in their lives in order to achieve success and respect in society. Our episodes align with SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions). we've featured incredible guests—like a Chief Civil Engineer, who courageously navigates a male-dominated field, sharing her journey through gender biases. Another guest, a DCPCR official, spoke powerfully about crimes against women, their root causes, and the urgent need for awareness and action. What we’i've realized through these conversations is unsettling yet crucial: many people are still unaware of the injustices around them—or worse, they choose to look the other way. Through VOICES UNHEARD, we hope to change that—one story at a time.
