" Belief on my own self equates with my trust over this fellowship. The fellowship can help me to grow more and learn more from peers from all around the world. Millennium Fellowship's focus on SDGs and humanitarian principles can help me more in building my own consciousness and consideration to drive change in the society. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Atmana
My project named "Ātmana" will be focused on helping women to enhance their self awareness through various life-guiding training and principles of Ātmana training (about self potential). This will also include to make self help groups(SHGs) or encourage them to join, where I continue to give financial assistance and skill training to women who come from poverty scales. I will try to understand the importance of aspirations and dreams in women from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who have come forward in their communities despite sometimes being attacked mentally, physically and psychologically. My project aims to build a safe space to include and encourage their free wings and ideas to unleash their capabilities through trainings on community mobilisation, financial stability etc. Along with this, the major focus of my project will be to encourage women to dream for their aspirations and later the way through skill learning to enrolments to achievements in partnerships with UN Women, Sewa, Shanti Sahayog etc and our MCN Fellows to help reach out to women in need.
