" Growing up in a society with limited free speech taught me the value of courage and dialogue. My advocacy for women’s rights and mental health stems from a belief that every voice matters. The Millennium Fellowship will give me the tools and global network to amplify these causes, align them with the UN SDGs, and transform passion into measurable social change. I am excited to collaborate, learn, and create lasting impact. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Digital Dignity

Digital Dignity is an awareness initiative focused on educating students and young citizens about free speech, access to information, and the growing issue of internet shutdowns in India. Through workshops, social-media explainers, student surveys, and dialogue circles, my project helps participants understand their constitutional rights, how shutdowns affect daily life, how misinformation spreads during blackouts, and why digital freedoms are essential for a healthy democracy.
The project aims to build an informed youth community that recognizes digital rights as human rights and advocates for transparent, accountable digital governance.
