Millennium Fellowship Project: Empowering Lives Beyond Survival
Our initiative focuses on assisting low-income and unhoused families by meeting their immediate necessities while also promoting their long-term growth and independence. We plan to provide meals and clothing support, ensuring access to wholesome food and warm garments, particularly in the winter season. Beyond short-term aid, we are dedicated to offering hands-on training in recycling and upcycling, equipping participants with the skills to repurpose discarded materials into valuable products they can sell for income.
Additionally, we aim to educate families on their basic rights and share simple, actionable strategies for maintaining a nutritious diet on a limited budget, helping them work toward healthier, more self-reliant lifestyles.
From August to December 2025, our objectives include organizing monthly community meal events and distributing over 100 clothing items to families in need. We also plan to teach recycling and upcycling techniques to at least 15 participants, supporting them in creating sustainable income streams. To celebrate their achievements, we intend to hold at least one showcase or marketplace event where their crafted products can be displayed and sold. Alongside this, we will arrange two or more educational sessions to spread awareness about human rights and affordable nutrition.
To strengthen community engagement, we will involve at least 20 student volunteers in food preparation, skill-building sessions, and awareness programs, fostering unity and shared responsibility across the community.
