" Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship has always been something I've wanted to do. I know that it is going to change my life, enhance collaboration for me and also aid critical thinking. The Millennium Fellowship is a way of bringing change to the society, and also learning new things about different aspect of change making, leadership, social impact amongst others. I am excited to be a part of this because I'll be working with several bright minds as me, this will challenge me to do better and not settle for mediocrity. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Voices Unheard
Voices unheard tends to address the issues surrounding people not being able to speak up because of stigmatization. The project aimed at addressing reason why students should speak up whenever there's an issue and to also create enabling environment so others can speak up as well.
About the Millennium Fellow
Oyinkansola Motunrayo Akintola is a 400 level student of the faculty of law, Ekiti State University. Passionate about mental health, dispute resolution, media and entertainment law, sports and politics. She has served in several leadership positions in her educational institution including being the first female sports director of her faculty and also serving as a senator at the higher level and also being the President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, Ekiti State University. Oyinkansola Motunrayo Akintola is a person who seeks for change, believes in the power of collaboration in changing the world, and enjoys applying for opportunities that seeks to develop lives and add positively to herself.
