" Philanthropy fuels my life. After every activity I always come out rejuvenated. Having attended most of the activities organized by your partners, I'm convinced that joining your program will give me a larger platform to carry out the activities "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Second Chance Initiative

Second chance is all about getting back young mothers back to their feet.We focus on giving young mothers especially those in the school going age hope to continue with their education and where possible help them with few materials i.e clothes for their neonates after birth. We're also coming up with a program focused on sensitizing young girls and boys in secondary schools on the dangers of bearing children while still pursuing education. In order to make all these a success we're involving both teachers and parents because when push comes to shove and the girls are already pregnant, the best they can do is to be a strong support system to them.

About the Millennium Fellow

Enock Kiaro Nyambegera is a medical student, currently in his 5th year of pursuing a Bachelor's in medicine and surgery at Egerton university Kenya.Enock was born in Kenya in a small village in Kisii, throughout his school life he has always excelled exemplarily. Simple as he may be , he's a person with a dream, a dream to help and support teenage mothers as they strive to adopt to their already complicated lives. Coming from a developing country, there are rising cases of young girls getting pregnant and dropping out of school. His vision is to deal with this menace from the grassroots by ensuring that young girls do not fall prey to being impregnated and for those who are already pregnant try to find a formidable solution for them.
