Millennium Fellowship Project: Effects of Gender-based Violence

My project is about determining the effects of gender based violence especially on women and children in my country, Kenya .This has been motivated by the fact that femicide is on the rise and there are social activist trying to mitigate the issues but are however faced with many challenges.

About the Millennium Fellow

Faith mumbi kirago is a young , brilliant and determined medical student currently studying bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of surgery in Egerton university. She was born and raised in kiambu county and currently resides in Nakuru in pursuit for her education.She has always been passionate about gender based violence activism and women's rights advocacy . Joining Millennium Fellowship will help her acquire skills that will help be part of change that the community requires .
