United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth development using sustainable program

The project aims at youth empowerment through creating opportunities that will enable them to earn a living and create their own employment. It will also categorize the youths into those who want to practice Agribusiness and those who want to start business. It will also ensure sustainability to enable them to benefit from the project for a long period of time and it will also create job opportunities to a lot of people.

About the Millennium Fellow

Lucy Tsisika is a passionate advocate of change pursuing Bsc in Agricultural Economics at Egerton University in Kenya. She is a resident of Kakamega county and raised in Nairobi. She is passionate about community development, leadership and youth empowerment this aligns with the UN goals to end poverty and sustainability. She is determined to bring more change to the community as she works towards United Nations goals
