" To be a Millennium Fellow is to engage with fellow leaders and prime ourselves for global action. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Womencare.Pod
WomenCare.Pod seeks to engage with youth healthcare advocates in understanding the effects of climate change on healthcare within marginalized communities. We do this by identifying community health champions who are directly involved in providing care for vulnerable members of society. We then educate them about climate resilience, climate-related illnesses, and mitigating these challenges from a provider's point-of-view. We believe that by training providers, we stand a better chance of promoting climate justice within the public health sphere.
