" My work is driven by the belief that small actions can spark meaningful change. Joining the Millennium Fellowship excites me because it will help me strengthen my skills, connect with passionate peers, and turn my vision for social impact into concrete steps that contribute to the SDGs "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Menstrual Health and Hygiene
My project focuses on promoting menstrual health and hygiene awareness among young girls and women. The aim is to break taboos, provide correct information, and build confidence around menstruation. Through online sessions, informational posts, and awareness activities, I educate the target audience about menstrual hygiene practices, safe product usage, managing periods in school/home, and understanding their bodies.
The project also highlights the importance of affordability, access to sanitary products, and reducing stigma. My goal is to create a supportive environment where girls can openly discuss menstruation without shame.
