ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2025

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Voices for Earth and Humanity: Promoting Human Rights, Environmental Sustainability, and Biodiversity Protection in Sierra Leone

My project is mainly on advocacy for human rights protection, promotion of sustainable environment practices and protection of Biodiversity. It seeks to advocate for the social and individual rights of citizens, advocate for the promotion of activities that enhance greener and environmental friendly practices and push campaigns that seeks for the protection of biodiversity; which includes life on land and life below. It seeks to achieve a society that is conducive for nature and humanity by 2030.

About the Millennium Fellow

He is Alusine Sallieu Kargbo a vibrant and energetic student pursuing a degree in development communication at the Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. Alusine has a desire to contribute to both national and global development, with an ultimate goal of promoting sustainable development practices. He is very passionate about embarking into development advocacy, human rights promotion, sustainable environment practices and empowerment. He believes in collective actions and inclusive development approaches as way to foster change effectively and efficiently.
