" "I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because I believe communication is one of the most powerful tools for shaping communities and driving inclusive development. This fellowship offers me the space to refine my skills, collaborate with like-minded change makers, and translate ideas into real impact aligned with the SDGs. I do this work because I want to ensure that every voice, especially those often unheard, helps shape the future we build together." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Project Hope: Awareness on Drug Abuse Dangers
Project Hope: Raising Awareness on the Dangers of Drug Abuse is an ongoing community-based initiative focused on educating young people, especially school-going pupils, about the negative effects of drug abuse on their health, education, and future, while inspiring them to take up leadership roles in promoting a drug-free community. Through interactive awareness sessions in schools, the project aims to empower students to make informed choices, resist peer pressure, and take up leadership roles in advocating for a drug-free society. The initiative also seeks to build a culture of responsibility and collective action among youth to help reduce the spread of substance abuse within their communities.
