Millennium Fellowship Project: GED HOPE Initiative
GED HOPE Initiative is designed to create awareness about drug/substance abuse prevention among the youths. This project helps the youths to understand the dangers and consequences of engaging in drug/substance. It also gives hope to people with addiction, providing opportunity to believe in one's self again.
During the Millennium Fellowship, my project under the GED HOPE Initiative focused on strengthening awareness and action around drug and substance abuse prevention among youths in local schools and communities. The project successfully reached over 180 students through school visits, awareness talks, and group sessions. Interactive sessions were conducted to discuss the impact of drug and substance abuse on youths, families, and society, using simple, youth-friendly explanations and practical examples to ensure clear understanding and meaningful engagement.
