Millennium Fellowship Project: BioBridge
As Millennium Fellows at the Georgia Institute of Technology, we launched BioBridge as our social impact initiative to expand access to hands-on STEM education in underserved communities around Atlanta and metro Atlanta. Our goal is to provide free, interactive science experiences that empower students to explore the field of STEM and encourage this next generation of scientists and innovators.
About the Millennium Fellow
Akshaya Poonepalle is a biomedical engineering student at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA. She is passionate about expanding access to STEM education, particularly in underserved communities, and believes hands-on learning can inspire the next generation of innovators. Through different projects, Akshaya aims to create programs and tools that make STEM education engaging, affordable, and widely accessible.
