" "Compassion and innovation are the foundation of lasting sustainable development. As a Millennium Fellow, I am eager to apply the skills I gain and my background to help build infrastructure that supports reliable, clean, and affordable energy." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Bridging Energy Infrastructure for Sustainable Urban Development

The scope of my project focuses on understanding how renewable and traditional energy systems can work together to create cleaner, more reliable urban infrastructure in Atlanta. My goal is to research and propose practical strategies for integrating technologies such as solar-powered EV charging and smart public transportation lighting into existing city frameworks. This project will combine case studies, interviews, and on-site assessments to identify where older infrastructure can be upgraded or connected with renewable systems. I also plan to collaborate with peers and local organizations to develop a report or model outlining affordable and scalable approaches for urban energy transition.
