Millennium Fellowship Project: BioBridge
As Millennium Fellows at the Georgia Institute of Technology, we launched BioBridge as our social impact initiative to expand access to hands-on STEM education in underserved communities around Atlanta and metro Atlanta. Our goal is to provide free, interactive science experiences that empower students to explore the field of STEM and encourage this next generation of scientists and innovators.
About the Millennium Fellow
Daeun Lee is a Biomedical Engineering student at Georgia Tech, passionate about making science education engaging and accessible. She has led and contributed to multiple projects that design synthetic biology workshops and create educational content for high school students and teachers, emphasizing frugal, hands-on approaches that minimize reliance on expensive equipment. Daeun hopes to continue this mission as a Millennium Fellow, advancing the United Nations’ Quality Education goals and inspiring the next generation of innovators through equitable and impactful STEM education.
