" Growing up, I noticed how often people with disabilities or marginalized backgrounds were left out of educational opportunities. That’s why I use technology as a tool for accessibility, and why I'm thrilled to be a Millennium Fellow: it gives me a global platform to keep building toward a more inclusive future. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Project INCLUDE

INCLUDE (Inclusive, User-Centered Learning Design in Education) is an initiative that brings together and formalizes my work over the past few years focused on educational inclusion. I’i've contributed to improving digital course accessibility for students with disabilities and redesigning platforms to better support multilingual and low-income learners. During the Millennium Fellowship, I plan to build on this work by engaging directly with students, faculty, and campus organizations to promote inclusive design practices. I aim to create a social media presence dedicated to raising awareness and sharing accessible design tips, while also reaching out to groups such as the Georgia Tech ABLE Alliance, the student newspaper, and various cultural organizations. Through these partnerships, I hope to amplify underrepresented voices and highlight areas where everyday educational tools can become more inclusive. I also hope to connect with faculty researching autism and inclusive technology, in order to apply evidence-based strategies and expand the impact of my work on campus. Although it is student-led, I see this initiative as part of a larger effort to reimagine education not just as a system for content delivery, but as an environment built to support the full diversity of learners.
