" The Millennium Fellowship will help me form a community that will be helping and contributing to implementing changes in the local community, which will be a stepping stone in contributing to the global community. It will help me strengthen existing communities and form new ones. The Fellowship will give me more outreach and voice, and help me learn from my co-Fellows. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Jan Sunvai

The project involves the capillaries of our university- the ones connecting the veins and arteries. This includes all the helpers, mess workers, security guards, and others working in our university. We would first collect information from them regarding their awareness of the government schemes regarding health, identity, and other opportunities, and whether they have basic access to them. After collecting the data and instructing the direct audience to get the required documents, the team will call the appropriate authorities to the campus. The authorities would collect their data and would start the process of making their health card, health and life insurance, and other provisions provided by the government. The entire project will ensure that good health and well-being is available to all the people in our direct community.

About the Millennium Fellow

Ishani Priyadarshini believes in living life to the fullest and encourages others to do the same. She is a strong believer in trying and learning from failures and moving on. Reading outside her curriculum helps her explore new ideas and make better plans, which she believes will fulfill her dreams in a shorter span. During her spare time, she loves spending time with nature, and practices pranayama, asanas, etc., and meditates to enhance her spiritual energy. She loves traditional dancing, which helps her stay in touch with her roots.
