Millennium Fellowship Project: Voices for Child Rights
Voices for Child Rights is an independent project dedicated to advocating for the protection, education, and well-being of vulnerable children. The project aims to raise awareness about critical child rights issues and mobilize community action through targeted campaigns, educational workshops, and strategic partnerships. During the Millennium Fellowship period (August-December 2025), Voices for Child Rights will successfully launch its awareness campaign and host a minimum of four educational workshops in local schools and community centers, directly engaging at least 300 students and community members. Additionally, the project will establish partnerships with at least two local non-profit organizations working in the field of child welfare to amplify its impact and reach.
About the Millennium Fellow
Ananya Das is a law student from Bangladesh dedicated to advancing gender equality and human rights. She has worked on research and advocacy initiatives focusing on legal reforms and empowering underrepresented communities. Passionate about building a more inclusive society, Ananya strives to ensure equal opportunities for all, regardless of gender. As a Millennium Fellow, she looks forward to applying her skills and experiences to promote the Sustainable Development Goals, with a particular focus on SDG 5: Gender Equality.
