Our project called "Hope Under Sky."
Our goal with this project is to help roadside children, Those who grow up in tough conditions without proper shelter, education or care. We want to give them a sense of hope and belonging, even if they don't have roof over their heads.
Through Hope Under The Sky, we plan to focus on few key things:
1. Basic Needs: Providing food clean cloths, and health support when possible.
2. Education: Setting up small learning groups where volunteers can teach them basic literary and skills.
3. Emotional: Making them feel seen, heard and value. Many of these kids don't have anyone to talk to, and we want them to know they matter.
4. Awareness Events on child rights: We will also arrange events to arise awareness about child rights. These event will help both the children and the community understand the rights every child deserves like the right to education, safety. and a life free from exploitation.
About the Millennium Fellow
I am Imratul Jannat Laisa, a dedicated and ambitious law student from Bangladesh with true love for social justice, human rights, and community empowerment. My academic life has been marked by mite participation in moot court competitions, legal research, and advocacy projects, experiences that have helped grow my leadership capabilities, all to bring forth some positive change. I want to work for reforms in law, for accessing justice, and in perhaps much alignment with the areas of work the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals specify. From the larger viewpoint of my life, my idea is to build an active career that is comprised of legal practice and community work for real social impact to come to birth.
