Millennium Fellowship Project: Gender Inequality in Rural Areas of Bangladesh
My project, Gender Inequality in Rural Areas of Bangladesh, focuses on promoting SDG 5: Gender Equality through workshops and storytelling sessions in a conservative rural community. Many families here hold traditional views that limit girls’ education and women’s participation in decision-making. I organized four sessions on gender roles, women’s education, leadership, and equality for future generations. To respect local culture, no photos or videos were taken. The project encouraged open discussion and helped participants realize the importance of equal opportunities for both men and women.
