United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Hope Revived Foundation

The Hope Revived Foundation as I call it is a project that targets to raise awareness about the issue of drug and substance abuse. It provides support and resources for the individuals that will be affected in a bid to promote a healthy community . I feel like by uniting against addiction , individuals, families and communities will be brought together.

About the Millennium Fellow

Vimbai Millicent Machona is a young Zimbabwean Lady aged 23 years old and she is currently studying law (LLB) at Great Zimbabwe University.Vimbai is very passionate about social justice specifically to the indigent and all this was sparked by her childhood experiences as she was exposed to human rights violations.Because of her mentioned passion,she joined the Great Zimbabwe Law Clinic in 2023 upto date which is the school's legal aid aimed at educating the underprivileged about their rights through radio sessions,outreach programs interalia.Above all she sees herself independently advancing the United Nations' Sustainable Goals in the near future.
