" mercuri.world is a collective of activists, researchers, engineers, and creatives based in over a dozen nations dedicated to making mental health resources accessible to everyone. With support from the Millennium Fellowship, we will develop, translate, and curate evidence-based digital mental health resources and disseminate them through our global outreach network. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: mercuri.world

mercuri.world (https://mercuri.world) is a student-led initiative to make mental health resources more accessible to non-English-speaking individuals who face mental health challenges. We are a collective of 196 activists, researchers, translators, and creatives based in over a dozen nations. We develop and curate evidence-based mental health resources in non-English languages and disseminate them through our outreach network. Since I began building this initiative last June, we have identified and curated a database of over 400 mental health resources in over a dozen languages, including screeners, workshops, awareness posters, clinical documents and guides, and videos. Through our chapter system, we have shared these resources through in-person community events. To increase the accessibility of our resources, we have developed digital databases of these resources and will launch a website and app to host these digital resources, a peer support network (Little Talks), and a career mentorship program (CareerQuest). Following the completion of this database of resources, we intend to build new initiatives that aim to tackle social challenges related to mental illness, such as stigma and isolation, through innovative digital storytelling involving poetry, essays, and art.
