" "My passion for design and social impact stems from a belief that creativity can be a powerful tool for change. Over the years, I have worked on initiatives in education, sustainability, and poverty reduction, always aiming to create solutions that are both practical and meaningful. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship will give me the opportunity to refine my skills in collaboration, leadership, and problem-solving. The experience will help me make my projects more impactful and better aligned with the UNAI principles and SDGs. I'm eager to explore innovative ways to address real challenges and bring positive change to communities." "
Millennium Fellowship Project: PACK IT
PackIt addresses issues of environmental sustainability and waste reduction through the design of eco-friendly, reusable packaging solutions. The project introduces modular cube-shaped boxes of different sizes, designed to make moving easier for households, newlyweds, and companies while reducing reliance on traditional single-use cardboard.
The project aims to engage with local communities and businesses to promote sustainable moving practices and raise awareness about the importance of eco-friendly packaging.
During the Millennium Fellowship period (August–December 2025), PackIt will:
Design and prototype at least three sizes of modular boxes.
Partner with at least two local businesses or student groups to pilot the use of PackIt boxes.
Host two awareness workshops on sustainable packaging and waste reduction.
We are aiming to directly impact at least 200 individuals and indirectly raise awareness among 500 community members.
