ABOUT THE MILLENNIUM FELLOWSHIP - CLASS OF 2025

United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: TAMSA MARATHON

TAMSA marathon with a theme "run for wellness, race for awareness", this marathon aims to raise funds to support various activities during the conference, specifically the medical outreach program, which will take place the following day. The event will also promote public health awareness, physical fitness, and community engagement. we expect to have more than 1000 participants. The marathon will take place on 4th October 2025, morning. Start & End point will be kenyatta grounds and there will be 5km run and 10km run. Entrance fee will be 30,000 for adults and students will be 15000/=.

About the Millennium Fellow

Elvis Kessy is a dedicated final-year Bachelor of Medicine, Doctor of Medicine student from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Passionate about helping people, he focuses on finding solutions to community challenges, creating employment opportunities, and providing education. Elvis has actively served in numerous medical camps, offering health services to communities, and has demonstrated strong leadership as a firstborn and in various school roles. He has organized impactful projects, including marathons, medical outreaches, and the “Helping Babies Breathe” program. With a vision to tackle societal problems, he aspires to influence policy-making and fund transformative community projects.
