Millennium Fellowship Project: Together Against Cervical Cancer
A project which I will be pairing up with Millennium Fellows Cedric Mangilo and Hyacintha from University of Kairuki Cohort B
Which is a project under Rotaract kairuki that's still under implementation phase. Which focuses on raising awareness about cervical cancer and empowering the community on doing cervical cancer screening at their nearest health facility as a way to eradicate cervical cancer as a public health concern by 2030 support the WHO goals.
About the Millennium Fellow
Hedwiga Joseph Mushi is a passionate,hardworking medical student in Kairuki University - Tanzania.Hedwiga was born and raised in Kilimanjaro and currently lives in Dar es salaam.Her spirit of volunteering and dedication towards serving the community is what truly defines her.She is in her third year of medical student but has been an active member of the Rotaract Club of Kairuki taking part in organizing and implementing different club projects that are sustainable and impactful to the community.Hedwiga is currently the President of Rotaract club of Kairuki,looking forward to be a great leader,serving as an example and learn more from the team and from networking with others Hedwiga aspire ls to be a neurosurgeon and help in the that medical field,in bringing joy and hope to the community.
