Millennium Fellowship Project: Together Against Cervical Cancer
A project which I will be pairing up with Millennium Fellows Cedric Mangilo and Hyacintha from University of Kairuki Cohort B
Which is a project under Rotaract kairuki that's still under implementation phase. Which focuses on raising awareness about cervical cancer and empowering the community on doing cervical cancer screening at their nearest health facility as a way to eradicate cervical cancer as a public health concern by 2030 support the WHO goals.
About the Millennium Fellow
Hyacintha Buganzi was born and raised in Tanzania and is a final-year medical student passionate about community service and public health. She has led medical outreaches, fundraising initiatives, and youth capacity-building programs, raising millions for essential health resources.
Through her work, she strives to improve healthcare access, empower communities, and inspire social change.
Hyacintha looks forward to expanding her impact through the Millennium Fellowship and continuing to learn and grow as a leader in global health.
