" Passion for preventive healthcare, community empowerment, and youth leadership fuels my work with Catalyst for Change Initiative. Being a Millennium Fellow will sharpen my ability to design and implement sustainable health solutions aligned with the SDGs. The skills, networks, and perspectives I gain will help me create greater, measurable impact in communities—transforming access to health into a universal right rather than a privileged "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Health for All
Health for All is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow Michael Shoide. The project seeks to improve community health outcomes by providing accessible health education on key issues such as nutrition, hygiene, sexual and reproductive health, and the prevention of non-communicable and communicable diseases. By empowering individuals with knowledge, the project aims to inspire healthier lifestyles and informed health choices within the community.
During the Millennium Fellowship period (August–December 2025), Health for All aims to:
Conduct at least 6 community health education sessions in schools, markets, and community centers.
Reach a minimum of 1,500 people directly with practical, evidence-based health information.
Distribute simple health education materials (flyers, posters, and digital content) to extend impact beyond in-person sessions.
Engage at least 20 student volunteers to participate in delivering and promoting health education.
